Totara Lovespoon
This lovespoon was for a woman from Cardiff getting to her groom from New Zealand.
The wood used for the lovespoon, Totara, is native to New Zealand, and was used to tie the two cultures together.
The inlaid Paua Shell is also native of New Zealand
The circle above the bowl is a Mauri symbol as are the two design burnt into the bowl.
